The Omo Valley in Southern Ethiopia is home to several ancient African tribes and is popular among documentarians, filmmakers and adventurers.

Laurent’s work, however, is one of the best of such I have seen in recent years; it is moderately processed without ruining its ancient roots, just enough to remain socially relevant and technically appealing in a digital-dominated visual marketplace.
